Day 1 : Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley/Gorges:

On this Sahara Tours Marrakech, we’ll meet you at your Riad or Hotel and leave Marrakech to begin the excursion to the Valley of Dades. First pass through the wonderful Tizi-n-Tishka in the high Atlas Mountains, there we will stop to value the mountain views. Afterfards we visit the Ait Ben Haddou town which is a Kasbah protected by UNESCO as a world patrimony. It is popular as a setting scene for some movies like ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ ‘Warrior’ and ‘Alexander’. Lunch will be here before continuing the trip immersing in the natural and historical monuments, landscapes including Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and Roses Valley; this valley is eminent for the Festival of Roses in May in reaping time.
Additionally we’ll go through some Berber towns, for example, El Kelaa des M’Gouna, Skoura and ‘Boumalene Dades’. This last is the last goal for now day. Finally we shall spend the overnight in the hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga:

Today’s point is to reach to Merzouga desert that is known for its highest dunes in North Africa. THE DESERT! is named the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert which is about 5 km wide and 20 km long. In fact it’s a unique, multifaceted environment. So today on our tour we will have the opportunity to see and explore many oases like the oasis of Tinjdad. Afterwards continue your trip through the small Berber towns of Touroug and Mellab. After arriving to Rissani we will have our lunch, then we continue our Sahara Tours Marrakech, immersing in the green oasis and the lovely palm trees of Ziz valley–Tafilalet, and the black Hamada village until arriving at Merzouga village. So later you’ll enjoy bathing with warm water and have a delicious local dinner while listening to the Berber music. Finally night in a Riad.

Day 3: Tour around Erg Chebbi Desert by 4×4 – Merzouga – Camel Ride & Night in Desert:

After breakfast, you will go all the way around the dunes via Merzouga oasis, it is the Blacks’ village named “Khamlia”. There you’ll visit the Gnawa people who are originated slaves brought from Sudan, So you will experience their music and lifestyle. Then after touring in the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations, we will drive to Rissani, it was named Sijilmassa and wich was the meeting place for the caravans of salt, who come from Timbuktu in Mali. In this village explore the souk and walk in the shops selling spices, vegetables and clothes. Today your lunch is pizza (conventional Berber pizza) in Rissani, then you will venture back to your riad. After drinking mint tea, meet your camel man and start your camel trek in the Sahara desert.
We put all the superfluous luggage in safe rooms at the hotel. Take 90-minutes camel ride in the desert which will lead us to a Berber camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes; they are the highest in North Africa. In the camp enjoy comfortable Berber tents equipped with linen, mattresses, restaurant and kitchen. Finally your evening will consist of dinner and entertainment by Berber drums, ( unforgettable night).

Day 4: Camel Trekking back to Merzouga – Berber Villages – Ouarzazate :

At that point back to the lodging again for shower and breakfast before proceeding onward your voyage to Ouarzazate. On this visit you’ll go through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. Your night will be at the guest house in Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Berber Villages – Back to Marrakech through Tizi-n-Tichka :

Today after breakfast leave Ouarzazate in the Morning, and visit the majestic Atlas Mountains. We’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains and passing by the most astounding point in Morocco Tizni Tichka 2260m high. This pass offers noteworthy and tremendous views of valleys, berber towns and mountains. Finally arrive at the evening, end of our services.
